Chioma Shallom Ndu
The SRC President for the 2016/2017
Miss Chioma Shallom Ndu is a final year BSc Nursing student and the former president of the Garden City University Nursing and Midwifery Student’s association (GaCUNMSA).
She is passionate about being an agent of change and progress in her society. As the first female president of the GCUC SRC, she serves as an effective advocate for female students. She believes in gender equality and is a known feminist.
Chioma believes that the SRC must represent all students fairly and equally and thus makes the welfare of the people the utmost priority of her leadership.
She is a past student of Angel Educational Complex and IPMC. She loves reading and is also a prolific writer.
Miss Ndu is also the founder of Life Cancer Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) which is dedicated to the prevention, management and the active treatment of cancer in Africa. She believes that in 10 years, Life Cancer Foundation will be a leading name in cancer management in Africa.

THE PRESIDENT’S INAUGURATION SPEECH
Madam President, the Registrar, the Electoral Chair, the Dean of Students, members of the teaching and non teaching staff, outgoing and incoming SRC executives, fellow students, ladies and gentlemen.
On this glorious day, I Chioma Shallom Ndu was sworn in as the first female SRC President of Garden City University College. This is indeed an historic moment for our university and I am glad we all have finally seen this day.
